Development of calibration equipment

Twin Eye is a laser sensor that finds its application in products such as gaming computer mice. TSG Group has further developed and optimized this calibration equipment for Twin Eye sensors. In addition, this equipment has also been made reproducible.

As most Dutch people are aware of, Koninklijke Philips (better known as Philips for short) is a Dutch electronics company. It has its headquarters in Amsterdam, but the roots of the company lie in Eindhoven.

The group produces, among other things, medical equipment such as MRI scanners and household appliances such as shavers, electric toothbrushes, coffee makers, vacuum cleaners, mixers, irons, toasters and in the past was a producer of consumer electronics such as TVs (until 2012) and stereos (until 2014) and lamps (until 2016).

Twin Eye is a type of laser sensor that is used in products such as gaming computer mice. The name refers to the use of 2 lasers, which use the doppler effect to achieve accurate and fast distance measurements.

Electronic components are small and important for the functionality of this type of sensor is a calibration of the LED lasers relative to each other.

Calibration of the LED lasers is very important for the functionality of this type of sensor. TSG Group has further developed and optimized this calibration equipment for Twin Eye sensors. In addition, this equipment has also been made reproducible. In addition, other test tools such as EoL equipment have been realized within this project.
