We developed the machine and later upgraded it with a dedicated connectivity module to enable real-time data access. Previously, the machine operated as a standalone unit, making it difficult to monitor performance or plan maintenance efficiently. This lack of visibility often led to reactive maintenance and missed opportunities for process optimization.

Result

With the connectivity module, the machine can now be monitored remotely from any location. This enables proactive maintenance scheduling, reducing downtime and extending machine life. Additionally, real-time data analysis allows for continuous improvement of the production process, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing performance. This digital upgrade is not only part of future machine developments but can also be retrofitted to existing machines, as most only require an upgrade rather than full replacement. Applied Technology

The solution leverages industrial IoT connectivity and secure data pipelines. Data is collected directly from the machine and processed on a dedicated server. Datamodels will check the input data for outliers to predict maintenance and prevent sudden machine stops.
